Pioneered in late 90’s with rich graphics user interface, this micro-site promoted Breteche Creek private ranch-resort near Yellowstone Park. At the time of rudimentary internet and limited bandwidth to develop engaging visuals and yet fast-loading pages was a challenge, which was successfully and cleverly solved with the use of background image-tiles. Work also included cross-browser testing and search-engine optimisation.
Inspired by a leather-bound traveler’s journals typical of early explorers of the American West – this site reveals every aspect of the resort – accommodations, beautiful landscapes, and potential adventures. Familiar book navigation let users to click on the table of content (left-page) or on the page numbers (right-corner) to flip through pages or chapters.
